Description:
The Vienna Health Association (the AG) is the largest healthcare provider in Austria and the backbone of healthcare in the city of Vienna.
As part of a feasibility study commissioned by the Vienna State Target Management, the use of telemedical measures bon heart failure patients and, based on this, a telemonitoring model for the care of this patient group will be established as part of the implementation phase. A Tele-Care Center (TCC) is to be set up for this purpose. Comparable projects have led to a reduction inon hospital stays and to reduce the time burden on the treating doctors.
The Vienna Health Association (WIGEV) acts as the project sponsor and client for the services within the framework of the program.
