Description:
Procurement of LoRaWAN application servers Information about the announcement: Salzburg AG plans to procure a LoRaWAN application server (AS). This is to be integrated into the existing LoRaWAN system landscape. The AS must have interfaces to the LoRaWAN network server from the manufacturer Loriot, the Inubit Enterprise Service Bus (SAP) and a file import via FTP. The AG operates a LoRaWAN network in the state of Salzburg with around 50 LoRaWAN gateways and 20,000 LoRaWAN devices. The The main use case is remote meter reading for district heating and water meters, as well as other IoT use cases. A further rollout for gas/water meters is conceivable in the future.
