Description: The frequency converter connects the EVU network (50 Hz) and the ÖBB network (16.7 Hz) on the 20/15 kV level. The scope of the investment also includes all other required facilities. In the system, the power transmission takes place between the 50 Hz and the 16.7 Hz network. The specification of the reactive power (inductive as capacitive) should be independent on both sides (4-quadrant operation in the P / Q chart). The dimensioning driving power to be provided by the frequency converter block is 15 MW.
