- klimaaktiv mobil is the climate protection initiative of the Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK) in the mobility sector. One of the goals of klimaaktiv mobil is to promote cycling in Austria. Because mobility habits begin in childhoodSince its inception, klimaaktiv mobil has been supporting children through cycling courses to gain cycling skills and develop an affinity for cycling. klimaaktiv mobil cycling courses can be booked by primary schools throughout Austria at a cycling school registered with klimaaktiv mobil. At the request of the elementary school, the costs of a klimaaktiv mobil cycling course will be covered by klimaaktiv mobil for each elementary school class once per school year in accordance with the announced cost schedule and in accordance with available budget resources. Interested cycling schools that have the registration processor requirements are invited to submit an application for registration.
