Project description/goal of this market research:
As part of a practical test, small superstructure devices and tools with battery power are to be tested under real conditions Operating conditions on OeBB-Infrastructure AG construction sites are tested at different locations. The aim is to comprehensively assess the Devices in terms of their performance, ergonomics, occupational safety, duration of use, charging infrastructure and practicality in daily construction site operations.
The testing includes three product types that are mandatory:
•Rail separator (battery-powered)
•Hand stuffer (battery powered)
•trackable Screwdriver (battery-powered).
In addition, other battery-operated small track devices if available can be included in the testing in order to cover the widest possible range of applications.
The implementation includes:
•Documentation of operating conditions and work processes
•Measurement relevant performance parameters (e.g. cutting and screwing times, battery life, charging cycles)
•Qualitative assessment by the construction site personnel (e.g. handling, weight, noise development)
•Technical evaluation and summary of the results in a final evaluation report.
