Description:
The OeBB-Infrastructure AG plans the introduction of a modular drainage flush system Bahn (MDB) for regular cleaning of drainage in long tunnel structures such as the Semmering Basist tunnel, Granitztal tunnel and Koralm tunnel. These drainage must be from mineral deposits (sacrifices)are freed to lower the groundwater pressure onto the tunnel shell.
The MDB system enables remote-controlled rinsing over distances of up to 600 meters during the current railway operation. It consists of several components:
• MdB flushing box: contains rinse tools, pumps and control.
•Transport unit: consists of a control car and an MDB transport module.
• Fixed system components: This includes supply lines, water, electricity and data supply, coarse-grip shafts and deduction basin.and reduce the number of installation locations and conversion processes.
• Availability: The track operation is only partially restricted, which increases the availability of the track.
• Optimization: better use of personnel and devices within the OeBB.Installation points installed and can be operated remotely to clean the drainage without interrupting the railway operation.
