Description:
The EU-funded FAIRway Danube II project aims to test an additional approach towards efficient river basin management. This is to be done by temporarily positioning barges loaded with water or sand and anchored several times in the edge area of the ford outside the marked areaappropriate fairway can be reached. As part of an EU-wide open procedure in the upper threshold area, a framework agreement is to be concluded with one entrepreneur/BIEGE per lot.
Lot 1 (Croatia)
For the provision of flexible infrastructure, a maximum of 3 non-propelled, ES-TRIN compliant barges (each with an indicative minimum draught of 2. 30 meters and an indicative minimum overall length of 50 meters) in good working condition shall be procured for use as a flexible infrastructure element in selected areas.
Lot 2 (Romania and Bulgaria)
For the provision of flexible infrastructure, a maximum of 11 non-propelled, ES-TRIN compliant barges (each with an indicative minimum draught of 2. 30 meters and an indicative minimum overall length of 50 meters) in good working condition shall be procured for use as a flexible infrastructure element in selected areas.
