Description:
Since 2016, washing systems for rodent husbandry in the ISTA PCF animal house have been operated. The existing system (total capacity of around 8500 cages type GM500, IVC, Tecniplast and 300 cages type IV, TECNIPLAST, open) to clean mouse cages and accessories should now be replaced. Uninstalling & dismantling of the existing system and delivery & installation of a operating new system will be advertised. Part of the order are structural measures to prepare the location.
Exchange washing systems for rodents
In 2013, cage systems were used to keep nagers advertised in the Preclinical Facility on the ISTA campus and the company Tecniplast GmbH struck. Mice are currently accommodated in 5000 tecniplast cages and rats in 300 Tecniplast cages. The existing system has a total capacity of around 8,500 cages and is said to be in Q_1 2026 to be exchanged. To do this, the existing system must be fully uninstalled, dismantled and disposed of, as well as structural measures at the installation location.
