Description:
A bogie change change is to be purchased on the site of the OeBB workshop in St. Poelten. The rotary frame change system is used for swapping bogies and underfloor components on rail vehicles in the supported condition.
For this purpose, the car box of the rail vehicle is Supported, the bogie to be exchanged, released and lowered with the lifting device. Then the bogie is driven vertically to the track and raised. There the bogie is transferred to the neighboring auxiliary track and manually removed. When exchanging the Underfloor components (e.g. battery), the car box is positioned via the bogie-frame change system so that they can be exchanged using a 2-way transport vehicle. To do this, the transport vehicle must be positioned on the bogie change, lowered and under the car box be moved. Then we raise the transport vehicle, the component solved and lowered. After that, the transport vehicle including component must be moved vertically, raised and handed over to the neighboring auxiliary track (mat track).
